We have never collected personal data from anyone without their consent, and then only from our customers so that we can communicate with them. We do not sell and have never sold personal data. We do not work for or with the advertising industry, and we do not have, and have never had, advertising on our sites. Our web applications and browser extensions do not gather personal data for any purpose.
Our products are entirely focussed on empowering people to take control of their data and protect their privacy.
All this has been made clear in our privacy policy which has not substantially changed since June 2011.
We are not affiliated to the AdChoices program and do not support their "opt-out" cookie. The CookieQ platform can be configured to support either the implied consent or default opted-out mode as required by the gold privacy standard of European fundamental rights and law.
We support the Do Not Track initiative and our CTO Mike O'Neill is a regular contributor to the W3C Tracking Protection Working Group.
