This privacy statement sets out how Baycloud Systems uses and protects any information that you give us when you use this or any of our websites.

Baycloud Systems Limited is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Baycloud Systems does not collect or retain personal data from casual visitors to our websites. We do not use advertising services and we have not and will not share  data we collect with advertisers or anyone else.

We are not affiliated to any behavioural advertising "opt-out" program because we do not collect, enable anyone else to collect, or retain any behavioural tracking data or indeed any personal data at all. We are completely focussed on creating technology that enables responsible companies to offer their website visitors the highest level of privacy and data protection. 

We do not retain web logs containing IP source addresses for any longer than is strictly necessary to manage our servers, and this data is deleted as soon as feasible, at most within 30 daya, and never shared with anyone.


We are committed to ensuring that any information you do share with us is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure any personal information we collect online.

How we use cookies

We use local storage in your browser to record which sites you have given explicitly consent to, and only if you have given consent.  This data is stored entirely within your browser and not transmitted to our servers. We do not store or use any unique identifiers in cookies or anywhere else, and do not track or target you in any way. We sometimes use "low entropy" cookies (meaning those with non-unique functional values sucy as "yes", "no" or "1" which are automatically deleted when you close your browser. 

Any data we store in your browser, for example to register your consent choice, is immediately deleted if you click our Forget link, though then your cookie choices on other websites will be lost.

We will cause a signalling cookie, named "__cq", to be inserted for sites using CookieQ where you have  afirmatively given your consent for cookies, or other storage access that requires consent.

We  also use low-entropy session cookies named _cqCommand, _CONSENT and __cqClearToReset to support the functionality of our user consent system. They cannot be used to identify you. 

If you have afirmatively given your consent for tracking for a particular web site or server we will set your browser's Do Not Track header to indicate this, if your browser supports this capability. If you later withdraw your consent by changing settings in your browser to revert the Do Not Track header we will record this on the relevent sites as if you had withdrawn consnet there.

If you log in to our site and  agree to our cookies we may also place a cookie called ASP.NET_SessionId. We use this to remember options you have selected between different visits to our site, for instance the parameters you selected when creating one of our buttons on the GetButton page.

If you log in to our site we may place the cookies named .ASPXAUTH and .ASPXROLES which we use to authenticate you. These cookies are strictly necessary for us to authenticate you and will be placed when you log-in. They are removed when you log out or withdraw consent to cookies. On our own site we also sometimes create low entropy session cookies whose names start with "demo_" to simulate cookies that our user control system can manage in order to demonstrate its functionality. These are not used in any way to track or profile anyone.

Third-parties that place cookies.

On our own site we use third-party content to demonstrate user consent for them. Currently we have a LinkedIn and a Twitter button in our footer on some pages. If you opt-in to them these third-parties are enabled and will place or use cookies. You are opted-out of all of them by default, and you can opt-in to all or some of them, and revoke your consent, at any time.

Links to other websites

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.

Controlling your personal information

You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information in the following ways:

We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties

Service Cancellation by Customer who has paid using a Credit Card.

Service cancellations received within 14 days of payment may be eligible to receive a full refund. Cancellations will be accepted via phone, fax or e-mail, and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline. All refund requests must be made by the credit card holder. Refund requests must include the name of the customer and/or transaction number. Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.

We will not sell, distribute or lease any personal information we have to third parties unless we have your explicit permission or are required by law to do so.

We may disclose personal information within Baycloud Systems Ltd but solely for the purposes of fulfilling contractual requirements, maintaining the business and to ensure that the most appropriate individual is party to such information.

Baycloud Systems Limited may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from May 18th 2013 and was updated May 27th 2018.
